The OK Babes consists of four Okanagan fashion bloggers – Alana, Christina, Jordan and Marcy. Fashion blogging can be a lonely, cutthroat business, and the group was born from a desire to take a different approach, to support and help each other rather than compete.

They quickly learned that as a collective their creativity and sphere of influence grew exponentially. While the initial focus was to support each other, they quickly saw that local business was eager for the kind of support they could offer, particularly in the area of social media and content creation.

In less than six months, the OK Babes have become a marketing force in the Okanagan, working with companies, not only in the fashion industry but also wine, coffee, special event management and multiple retail stores. The girls are passionate about supporting and promoting local businesses but also giving back to the community which they’ve done with various fundraising events. They have released their own merchandise in limited runs, including bathing suits, jewelry, and t-shirts with more in the pipeline.
